Changes to UK Postal Rates

Beginning 2nd May, we will be changing our default postage rates for customers in the United Kingdom to Tracked 48, a two-day delivery service with real-time parcel tracking and will also save you money.

Previously we have used 1st Class Large Letter which has seen significant increases price over the last 2 years and a general decline in service. It’s no longer the case that 1st Class means ‘next-day’ delivery leading to some frustration from customers and us alike.

Tracked 48 has proven much more reliable in trials and happens to be cheaper than 1st Class Post. It seems that customers appreciate a more consistent expectation verses inconsistent next-day. For customers who want a faster Option, Tracked 24 will be retained as optional upgrade at checkout.

The store policy has always been to charge the actual cost of the postage when calculating totals at the checkout. This is for both UK and international customers and is a fair and transparent way of selling online, in our opinion.
