This listing is for the Makita SP6000 series plunge saws and not the DSP600 Series Battery Saws

The hole in the case of your plunge saw is there to allow you to change your blade. The rest of the time 'it’s just a hole and that hole reduces the performance of your dust collection. This stylish cover is a really good alternative to using gaffa tape and is easily removable.

There are two variants in this listing. See a separate listing for a personalised cover.

1. A plain cover in Teal, Blue, Silver or Black;

2. Containing the embossed word Makita in Teal, Blue, Silver or Black.

The reverse side of the cover features the clips that secure the cover to the saw and the Strawbyte logo.

Fitting is simple, locate one edge into hole and press firmly. Note that the fit may appear loose but that doesn’t affect the performance of the cover when you turn on dust collection. It quickly seats itself into the hole and there’s just enough ‘looseness’ to allow you to put a small screwdriver under an edge to pop it off when you need to change the blade.
